SiltPrison 160 D
The SiltPrison 160D model treats for suspended solids and gross pollutants through a combination of preliminary screening and stormwater diffusing through a fine filtration membrane. In the system water flows freely into the drain at street level through strainer to the bottom of the basin. Once the level of water in the sump has risen past the outlet pipe pressure head forces untreated stormwater to pass through a graduated woven filtration mesh before reaching the outlet.

Stormwater Buffer Zone is working to meet the challenges of managing stormwater constituents in different areas developmental land use. The Silt Prison160DP is designed to meet the needs of nutrient control in stormwater runoff. This unit takes the sediment control of the SiltPrison matched with a filter lining holding generic adsorbent zeolite as a filter medium. The combination of a granular barrier and the thin sheet water flow produced by the SiltPrison collectively allow for sufficient interaction between stormwater and granular media. When focusing on other constituents, alternative filter media can be used with the SiltPrison 160 DP as it is seen fit.

SiltPrison 160 R
SiltPrison’s 160 R stormwater quality and recharge system is SBZ’s flagship low impact development system. Stormwater runoff, collected for impervious surfaces, is treated for fine particulates (20-50 microns) and are ported for recharge or storage. This system is best fit for scenarios like, condominium developments and recreation parks, where harvested rainwater can be called upon for irrigation. When higher rain volume occurs, the 160 R is configured with an outlet pipe to handle higher flows.
